Instructor Biography - Tom Finneran

Tom Finneran is a seasoned professional in the automotive industry, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. With a career spanning over six decades, Tom has worked as a technician in both independent shops and dealerships, eventually owning and operating Finneran’s Automotive Diagnostic Service for 35 years. As an ASE Certified Master Technician with advanced certifications in Engine Performance and Hybrid/Electric Vehicles, Tom has been at the forefront of automotive technology from the very beginning.

In 2002, Tom transitioned to education, teaching automotive Engine Performance Technology at the College of Southern Nevada for ten years. He has had the privilege of learning from some of the most respected experts in the field and has been teaching Hybrid Electric technology for over a decade. Tom has also presented a wide range of automotive technology topics across the country and online for Delphi Training. Additionally, he is a certified instructor for Nevada State licensed inspectors and technicians and holds both an associate’s degree in automotive technology and a bachelors degree in Workforce Education.
